On Saturday 3rd October, it was time for the 8th International Clean Up Day event. With 140 people on the boats, we headed out again to Koh Sak to collect some more trash.
In the space of 3 weeks, we found a lot more at the same site which was partly due to the storms and high winds we had recently experienced in Pattaya. We also has our first rain on a clean up, but it didn’t deter the divers or snorkelers one little bit.
The snorkelers were transferred over to the beach by the safety speedboat and then returned with their trash to the boats, whilst divers loved being underwater in the rain. Throughout the day an estimated 500kgs of trash was collected on this event.
